TT+ Audio electrifies Baoding Qian Chong Lang Music Festival in China

The Baoding Qian Chong Lang Music Festival, also known as the Emma·Star-Chasing Thousand Waves Music Carnival, was an unforgettable musical experience that took place from October 19th to 20th in Baoding, China. Drawing an enthusiastic crowd of over 50,000 attendees, this festival featured a dynamic lineup of popular artists and emerging talent, blending an array of musical styles. With artists like Yang Kun, Wu Kequn, and groups such as Landlord’s Cat and Wild Si, the festival was a true celebration of China’s vibrant music scene, catering to fans across genres from pop to rock and rap. At the heart of this electrifying event was a cutting-edge audio experience crafted by TT+ Audio’s premier sound system.

The main array comprised [36] GTX 12 and [18] GTX 10 line array modules, meticulously arranged to cover the vast festival grounds. Supporting the line array setup was a dedicated low-frequency section featuring [33] GTS 29 subwoofers. These were configured in an electronically curved array of 11 stacks, each composed of three subwoofers in a cardioid configuration. This arrangement, enhanced by RDNet for real-time monitoring and precise tuning, allowed for controlled bass dispersion and minimized unwanted low-end interference. The result was a deep, tactile bass that could be felt throughout the entire venue, enveloping the audience in sound without overwhelming the performers on stage.

To drive this advanced setup, TT+ Audio incorporated nine TTR 16K system ampracks equipped with [27] XPS 16K power amplifiers, ensuring optimal power distribution and performance stability across the entire system. This robust amplification setup was essential in delivering consistent sound output, handling the intense demands of a live outdoor music festival with ease.
