TT+ Audio Captures the Essence of Brass at Woodstock der Blasmusik

With more than 100,000 visitors and over 150 performing bands, Woodstock der Blasmusik in Innkreis, Upper Austria, has become one of Europe’s largest brass music festivals. Over four days, the event bridged tradition and innovation — from classic orchestras to modern brass-pop and international shows.
For 2025, the festival team again relied on the expertise of FREUDEN:TON for overall sound coordination, with Thomas Mundorf from the RCF Pro Sound Team providing on-site support. Four of the nine stages featured systems from RCF: two using TT+ Audio GTX line arrays and two powered by RCF’s HDL touring series.
The Almdudler Sepp a Reh Stage, one of the festival’s main open-air venues, required a solution with long throw and high intelligibility due to its narrow site layout. F&L Eventsolutions GmbH supplied and managed a TT+ Audio GTX system.
System setup
• 24× GTX 10 line array modules (Main PA)
• 12× GTS 29 subwoofers
• 2× TTL 6-A front fills
• TT 25-CXA stage monitors
The Kraut & Ruabm Arena, accommodating around 5,000 listeners, hosted regional and contemporary brass acts. Colito productions provided a TT+ Audio GTX 12 system that maintained perfect tonal consistency through frequent changeovers.

Inside the Allerhand Stage festival tent, high sound pressure levels were essential without loss of clarity. FREUDEN:TON deployed RCF’s HDL 30-A line arrays and SUB 9006-AS subwoofers for maximum control in a reflective environment.

• 9× SUB 9006-AS subwoofers
• 2× TTL 4-A front fills
• 2× TTL 4-A delay speakers
• NX 12-SMA monitors
The Woodstock Stadel, a smaller fixed-stage barn venue, focused on acoustic intimacy and close audience interaction. Berger Veranstaltungstechnik handled system supply and mixing.

“Woodstock der Blasmusik demands highly adaptable systems — from open-air stages to dense tent acoustics,” said Thomas Mundorf (System Specialist, RCF). “The mix of TT+ Audio and RCF touring products provided sonic consistency, flexibility, and total reliability.”
